New proposals for A61N Alwoodley

Thank you for taking part in the consultation earlier in year and providing valuable feedback on the route from Alwoodley into Leeds through Moor Allerton, Moortown, Chapel Allerton, Chapeltown and Sheepscar, and the proposals for a new park and ride facility at Alwoodley Gates.

We have taken your feedback into consideration and have carried out further analysis and work on the proposals along the corridor. We aim to come back for further public consultation with our updated proposals to make bus services quicker and more reliable on the route in late 2018 or early 2019 but we have identified three specific improvements that could be delivered more quickly, so that the benefits can be seen earlier.

You can view the proposals and provide feedback at https://a61nqtc.commonplace.is/overview . The deadline for feedback is Saturday 20 October 2018.

We have also arranged two public drop in meetings for you to view the proposals and ask the team any questions you may have.

Focusing on Harrogate Road, Moortown

Thursday 27th September 5pm – 8pm, Baptist Church, 204 King Lane, Leeds LS17 6AA

Focusing on Harrogate Road North of the Outer Ring Road, Alwoodley

Thursday 4th October 5pm – 8pm, Tree Tops Community Centre, Squirrel Way, Leeds LS17 6DP

If you have any questions about this proposal, the public meetings or any of the Connecting Leeds Programme please contact the team directly via email at connectingleeds@leeds.gov.uk .
